The Coffee Barometer 2020 looks at the role of the main private sector players, with the top ten multinational roasters representing over 35 percent of global trade in green coffee and engaging millions of smallholders and workers. The report provides insight into the problems smallholder coffee farmers encounter in responding to the global market structures, recognising that contributing to the resilience of smallholder coffee farmers is imperative to create a sustainable coffee sector.
