National Geographic’s Rena Effendi is an award-winning social documentary photographer and photojournalist, whose talent and passion has taken her to some of the world’s most remote rural communities. As part of the Beyond the Bean partnership, she travelled to coffee farming regions to document how the Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality™ Program is helping fragile communities recover from conflicts, economic hardships and environmental disasters.
